Lorelle Bacon, Painter
"First of all, I paint because I must-it is as much a part of me as my hands or eyes. When I am not painting it is
like a big part of who I am is missing."
Lorelle Bacon is known primarily as a portrait artist. She strives to connect with her subject's inherent spirit - the
essence of them - and that connection comes through in her art. Her works hang in private and business collections in
Germany, Holland and throughout the United States. She is the recipient of numerous awards, her most recent being the
Presidential Award of the Cider Painters of America's Miniature Exhibit in Pennsylvania. After leaving the mountains
of North Carolina in 2007, Lorelle now resides in East Texas with her husband and mother. Lorelle accepts commissions
for portraits of people, pets, and homes.
